A beautiful winter wedding at the ever-lovely Northop Hall Country House Hotel, near Chester. December is a great month for a wedding – the weather is often very settled and the light perfect for photographs outside, if a little chilly. Winter also gives a wedding photographer a chance to exercise her winter wedding lighting skills.. With a showcase staircase, big rooms, windows and a fabulous ‘getting ready’ gallery, this is a super venue for photographers – I think the couple liked it, too!

Northop Hall Country House Hotel

This is a lovely venue with great links and guest accommodation, just inside North Wales from Chester.

If you are considering a winter wedding, talk to a photographer who has plenty of relevant experience. This is especially important for adjusting timings, so we have to opportunity to capture that beautiful light outside before darkness falls – and enable us to bring out the creative lighting later on!

For a dog loving photographer, there’s nothing like being asked to photograph a beloved, treasured 13 year old family dog. Madoc, a Welsh Collie, named for the place she was born – Portmadog – was showing all the signs of being a teenager – belting around after her ball and giving me a workout both physically and photographically, given the dark grey days of a Welsh winter. I was super-emotional here, too – at the time of this photo session, I too, had a 13 year old bitch who was unbelievably precious. I am so thankful that I have some awesome photographs of her too.

Dog and Pet Photography

If you’d like to hold on to those moments with photographs of your family and/or your pets, there’s more information here. Animals don’t need to be primped and fancily-groomed for a photography session – this is all about the joy in sharing your lives with your children and fur-children, the way they really are. Trying to force over-artificial poses (in kids or dogs and cats etc) makes a session a trial rather than the happy time it should be. And the memories that these images invoke will be real.

We’re at the Trafford Hall Wedding Venue Fair today, 17 January 2016 from 12 – 4pm. Come and say hello!

This lovely House is a fabulous venue with great links to Chester, Manchester, Wirral, Merseyside and the main M6 motorway – something your guests will thank you for. There’s plenty of overnight accommodation and vast, safe grounds for guests’ children. Highly recommended by Corinne Fudge Photography, Trafford Hall is a great favourite due to the super staff and the vast choice of photography locations inside and out.

If you need some advice on choosing a venue, don’t hesitate to ask your photographer – we’re very experienced at recognising where the light for your wedding photographs will be really lovely!

Eriviat Hall

Gemma and Paul’s all-four-seasons-in-one-day wedding at the incomparable Eriviat Hall country house, near Henllan, Denbigh, North Wales. This is a fabulous location with plenty of gorgeous places for photographs both inside and out. Family had arrived from far and wide and were stunned by the lovely house and grounds. The weather was ‘interesting’ but we managed to dash outside for some beautiful summery photographs – a fabulous sunset too..

The house is very secluded. I spoke to a number of guests who were staying over in the accommodation and they spoke very highly of it. I understand that the coach house and the main hall can be hired together or separately, giving plenty of options. The suppliers with whom I worked that day were awesome.

Thrilled to have been asked to photograph these two beautiful girls for their dog breed historical publications. The girls were specifically positioned here to show off their correct-to-breed-standard attributes. I also love to catch motion and interaction with their families!pet photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told, dog photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told, dog photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told, dog photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told, pet photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told, dog photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told, dog photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told, dog photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told, dog photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told, dog photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told, dog photographer north wales, chester, flintshire, told,

I take commissions for photographing pets – I’m well used to handling horses, dogs and cats, and I’m happy around all animals. I have large dogs of my own and thoroughly enjoy walking out on location to photograph your pets at your favourite location.
